XPublish
XPublish is a web-based publishing tool which allows the users to prepare, versionize and distribute communication and marketing material.
In XPublish people can work on brochures, print ads, posters, sales material etc. without using graphic software and without having any graphic skills.
XPublish allows you to turn frequently used documents into templates that your organization can use over and over again. You determine what the users can change within the template.
XPublish makes your documents editable directly in your web browser. “Non-graphic” people are now able to work with professional graphic materials based on templates. Digital XPress prepares templates which will incorporate your corporate visual identity, pre-approved messages, text, graphics, logos and images and make it all available online for your markets, stores or sales force. Your organization has never had greater freedom and flexibility in the preparation and distribution of its marketing materials.
XPublish allows the users to change an image or the text in a print ad or in sales material whilst retaining the overall design guidelines. In the past, you had to go to an advertising agency in order to have corrections made to existing graphic material.
The user login and password will determine your rights in the systems. Some users can only change the images in a brochure while others are also allowed to change the text or logos.
XPublish is the result of the synergies between the graphic skills related to color management and print profiles and the IT skills possessed by the technology department at Digital XPress.
XPublish is fully integrated with XMedia and includes Color management and profiling of PDF files for professional use. It also means that XPublish has the same user-friendly interface as XMedia.

Version Control of Content
“Version Control of Content” gives the user the option of saving multiple versions of the selected content. Each user gets their own “history” of how the template has been used and what orders have been made. You simply choose your starting point, make corrections and save a new version – it’s that easy.
Download Master
The “Download Master” module allows the users to download a master text into their own personal template.
This can be very useful for language translation where an English master text is being imported into the system and a translator can then translate the text into another language directly in InDesign.
Workflow, notification, PDF for approval, etc.
XMedia and XPublish allow automated workflows. Many of our clients use this functionality to let their markets, stores or branches have the flexibility of producing graphic material in XPublish. Before the material is sent to print or to the local media, the central marketing function will approve all orders from XPublish before they are released to the printing house or the local media.

Danish Media module
XPublish’s “Media” module allows you to have your material sent directly to a given medium, e.g. a newspaper, printing house, or wherever you want the material to be sent. You can have your finished material sent directly to an e-mail address specified by the user, or you can use the integrated address book. The “Media” module can be supplied pre-filled with data on all Danish newspapers, so as to ensure that print ads for example are always sent to the right e-mail address. If your organization is using a media agency, it will be possible to configure a workflow in which the agency is an active participant that can approve and reject ad bookings, information on price, etc.
